National park hosts

The national park has trained hosts to offer guided tours of the area around the visitor centre and in the national park. The hosts can be privately hired, and they specialise in different areas such as birds, insects and other animals, life in the intertidal zone and sea, geology and cultural history. Hosts are responsible for the content of their tours, as well as for arranging the time, place, cost and transport. They have all attended Færder National Park’s seminars for national park hosts.
